I was having problems getting File History to backup my recent files. In the process of trying to correct this, I clicked on my OneDrive icon and I'm not sure what I did after that. I did get a notice that my OneDrive was full and that I needed to upgrade it. Then suddenly the red X's appeared in the lower left corner of most folders, files and icons.

How do I get rid of these X's? I don't really want to use/upgrade OneDrive. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I uninstalled OneDrive and all the red X's disappeared. I guess they were there to encourage me to purchase more space on OneDrive.

It was just an indication that One Drive was full or close to it. It is like the graph for a drive going red in My PC if it has less than 10% free space. At least that is how it sounds.
