Hi everyone,

I am looking for some help with my laptop (running Windows 11). I bought a new one a few weeks back, set it up and everything was tickety-boo. I hit the power button and it would take me straight to Windows, just the way I like it. Then yesterday, I was writing an assignment on the train, so I closed the computer when I got off to catch a connecting bus - when I opened it up again, it started asking for a password. I have never had to sign in to open it up before, why now? I have since realised it is a Microsoft account password, so I typed in that password and it took me to Windows; but now when I start up the laptop, it keeps demanding that I connect to the internet and type in the password? I want my computer to go back to the way I had it - hit the power button and it takes me to Windows. Nothing more, nothing less. If anyone can give me some help that would be greatly appreciated.

I'd probably just switch to a local account with no password
