I need to change the screen resolution on Windows 10 because everything on the desktop is off to the left and unable to view about half the screen. The current resolution is set at 1366x768 but for some reason it is greyed out and has no option to change it. I have tried just about everything with no luck, not even able to get to the window at the far bottom left that allows me to shut down.

Look for a size control on the monitor. If there is one just adjust the size until it fits.

\If you are connected via HDMI you may also find a control in the system's display settings.

"OH WOW" , I removed the VGA cable and installed a HDMI and I have a perfect full screen without doing anything else, it's the correct size for the entire screen and the monitor is no longer dark, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
