Does anyone have the instructions to "fudge" FDISR into Win 7?

Hi, Smitty. Actually you no longer have to "fudge" FDISR into Win 7. Raxco re-released FDISR a few years ago under a new name, Instant Recovery.

This is the exact same product under a different name and created by the same brilliant developer.

If you do not want to spend the money on the new version you can find the "recipe" for your fudge here:

But I would recommend purchasing the new version. Many years ago when I installed FDISR on Win 7 with the fudge, before Raxco released Instant Recovery, I hosed my system and had to recover using another program. My second attempt worked but I say, always go with the latest new program.
Whatever you do, good luck and enjoy an excellent program.

I do have Instant Recovery...had it since it first was made available (4 yrs+).
My thoughts were installing my old FDISR on my daughter's machine being it's so easy to use
but it doesn't look like it's worth the trouble. Maybe I'll just buy another IR.

Thanks for answering.
