Don't like it for the same reason I don't like Edge and use Firefox as my default browser. I want a 'menu bar' where I can open my favorites with just one click instead of having to go through a menu that needs opened to do anything.

Am i missing something or is the 'Cuck' just a play on words because you don't like like 'duckduckgo'?

As an aside i still haven't upgraded my PC yet from Win7 despite having all the component parts and software to do so.

That said, i don't get why you can't just point Firefox to the duckduckgo website as your search engine so that you still have the Firefox menu bar along with the bookmarks menu in Firefox?

Like i said i might be missing something, i have my Firefox homepage currently set to google.co.uk on Win7, I can change that setting to anywhere in the world without the need for an app, i don't really understand what the issue is... unless Win10/11 needs an app that takes control of Firefox?

Just a typo. Meant Duckduckgo.

Haven't used the search enough to have an opinion. I just don't like the browser.

I didn't know duckduckgo had it's own browser which again asks the question, why use the duckduckgo browser when you can point Firefox to the duckduckgo website like you can with google and yahoo etc... or in the good old days, alta vista?

For the same reason I tried the Sidekick browser, just wanted to see what it is like. ;)

Now and then I look at different browsers but always seem to stick with Firefox. I've actually been using Firefox all the way back to when it was Netscape Navigator.

Netscape, now that really was a browser that shook things up... i forgot that was where Mozilla's roots came from, probably explains why to this day i still prefer Firefox and Thunderbird over any of the more recent bells and whistles browsers and email clients... truth be told i actually preferred Microsoft products but when they pulled out of the market(s) Mozilla was a no-brainer for me :)

I do actually use edge but just for my streaming services. As a 'home page' I have tabs for each service. Mostly anymore I don't even do that as my 55 inch TV is a smart unit and handles all my streaming except sports. I'll still use it if I want to record a movie as I have software that will record off of streams called Replay Video Capture. I just tell it to monitor my second screen which is the 55 inch and it will automatically focus on the stream window when motion is detected. It is sort of a streaming DVR but the entire video has to play.
