This is too freaky for words!

For context we've had a wee bit of storm pass through Scotland in the last few days... by no means anything like a hurricane but it did dump a huge amount of rainfall (by Scottish standards) on some parts of Scotland.

A dog walker apparently took this footage of the forest floor being lifted by winds in Stirlingshire:

Make of it what you will but i find it hard to believe this could be fake...or real for that matter!?

I can see that happening. If you look close it is a stone or rock substrate under a thin layer of soil. It would not take a lot to allow wind to get under the soil layer and the plants would still hold the soil together.

I did notice the stone/rock bedrock but it's how the trees didn't topple that boggles my mind, bare in mind that the wind is only gale force and nowhere near storm force only makes it even more mind boggling... it's not as if the soil only lifted once during the continuous parts of the video.

Amazing, and I also cannot believe that the trees did not continue to fall.
That said, it sure looks real to me.
