JoanA (Joan Archer) has passed away after a short illness. She will be missed by many! :(

BB, I have sort of been expecting this. Since her hubby died it sort of seemed that she was 'biding time' waiting to join him again. Since way back when I had a 'near death experience' (NDE) I have been convinced that death in our current form is not an ending but an opening to another existence. When I had my NDE I had a conversation with something that I can't describe. I was asked if I had done what I was supposed to do. When I answered with a no I started breathing again. Sigh, wish I would have thought to ask what it was I was supposed to do, still don't know.

:-( May she rest in peace. Yes, I felt the same that she was biding her time and missing her husband. It was the same with my parents. After my mom passed away, following a long decline from Alzheimer's, my father was biding his time. He passed away 4 months later.

I don't visit this Forum nearly as much as i used too and it's deeply saddened me to learn that Joan has passed.

Joan was (for me) a lot like Patty, always a level head with a kind and understanding heart who would try and understand both sides of any debate... who would articulate in such a way that she could defuse any situation before it got out of hand, more often than not, behind the scenes.

God rest your soul Joan and thank you for everything, my thoughts are with you and your family.
