I am really getting tired of this program intruding into my computer. I have already uninstlled it several times but after a few weeks,it is back again. Now, I don't think it is probably a harmful program but I just don't like anything installed on my machine that I have not asked for.
The program inserts itself but does not end up in my list of things when I check the programs and features section so it cannot be readily uninstalled.

I am really curious as to if any other members have had this intrusion. I have checked both Google and Bing and there are quite a few communications on it but I cannot find a way to prevent the intrusion completly.

Any comments regarding this?

Bob

I would look at how its getting installed. Is there a website that you go to or some program you use that keeps installing it?

If it does not show in Programs and Features and also does not show in the add-on list for your browser I would automatically consider it malware. I consider ANY software that does not offer an un-install as malware.

If the above is indeed true I suggest that you run full security scans with everything you have, especially MBAM.

This seems like a legit program if its this: http://www.paretologic.com/

You may have broken the uninstall routine. The first I would do is to reinstall it again, reboot and then uninstall it normally.

If that doesn't work try this FAQ: http://techsupport.paretologic.com/plsupport/consumer/kbdetail.asp?kbid=2345&SearchType=standard&referrer=&gpn=&CustID=&bUseEditor=&keyword=uninstall&rfield=&usertype=&gpv=&formaction=search&catID1=&IncludeHTML=&logsearch=False&TotalResults=543&submitbutton=Go&match=and

Seems like I have pretty much gotten rid of ParetoLogic. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
