I use the free version of the password manager RoboForm, and have for years. Now they want me to upgrade to the latest version. I don't want to do this because it is a subscription version.

Every couple of days I get a notice to upgrade...this notice just pops up in the lower right corner of my screen. I always choose to close out the notice screen, but it is a pain to keep doing this.

So my question is....how can I eliminate this reoccurring notice? Where would I find the program that generates this notice? Thanks in advance...

Click on the RoboForm icon on your taskbar and select help then about. Uncheck the box for Notify about new versions.

The following link is to enable the notices but should work in reverse.

Jay, I invoked your recommendation to click on Help, About, then Uncheck the Notify box. Hopefully that will stop these notices. Thanks....

Only time will tell. ;) I don't use roboform so couldn't test anything but if checking the box enables notifications only makes sense that unchecking would disable them. The only concern is that you are using a free version and it is possible that disabling notifications is blocked but, in that case, I wouldn't expect the checkbox to be there at all or at least greyed out.

I was thinking of this and just wondered if my suggestion worked. Since nothing was posted otherwise I assume that it did. ;)
