Hi all, please can someone think of some way I can access my email account at Yahoo? I haven't used it for a while but I do have an email address in there that I need to get at and it's the only place this address is in. When I tried to log in last night, Yahoo said I was logging in from a computer 'they did not recognize' even though it's the same one I've always logged in from. I have the login info (user name and password) but just because of this recognition, I need to answer a security question about an oldest cousin. I know for sure I never entered a security question answer about a cousin and everything I enter is rejected. I have written to an address 'stephanie_tinney@yahoo.com' I found in a google search to contact Yahoo support but there was no reply today. The web post that I got the email address from was from Oct 2012 so it wasn't that old. Does anyone have any suggestions how to access my yahoo email account without answering a security question I never entered (I've always made sure I had my login info written down somewhere so I could always get in but in this case, I am using the very same computer; Yahoo really should not be confused about recognizing my computer) Any ideas anyone?? TIA for any help, katy

Start here, Katy: http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=contactSelect: Yahoo Account Password and sign in "forgot my secret questions and answers" The system will lead you to use the "Password helper" first, but you will also get the options to contact support via email, chat and even phone: "You can contact our Mail support team For Mail questions for Yahoo! products, call us today at 1-866–562–7219 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Pacific time zone) 7 days a week" -steve -steve

But I have written 'everything' down and not stored it away this time; and I have your Yahoo! phone # if this should ever happen to me or anyone else I know again. You are the best!! katy

Kudos to you Manny!
I was intrigued that she wasn't locked out for failing to answer the question on multiple entries. That just happens to me.
