Do most new computers allow you to print the bios?

None that I know of. BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System and printers would not qualify.

Thats what I thought too but I was hooking up a new computer today and had a quick peek at the bios and it had a print option. I did not have the printer hooked up yet but once I got that done, I went back into the bios and clicked on the print option and sure enough when it booted up, the image was there. "Really Neat".

OK, it is doing a scren capture then, not a print. I can see the screen capture but not the printing as the BIOS would not have printer drivers that would associate with a given printer.

Where and how would it save the screen capture though?

I know where but I don't know how When you click on F 12 to do the print screen, it prompts you to select the flash drive that you want to save it on. When you click of the flash drive, it brings up another window that says Screen Capture Success, Image saved in fso:\12042629027.bmp. I really like this because so many times I forget the settings.

Being a bitmap image, .bmp, it can just do a screen memory dump.

Chad quite a few BIOS's allow you to do a print screen, which is VERY handy if you are trying to talk someone through doing something, I find I can print screen away and then send them over the screen caps so they have a better idea of what to look for. In regards to the mouse, I know some HP's and Dell's allow me to do that but I am so used to just using the keyboard I always forget!

I have a BIOS that has drag and drop on one my computers. Great feature when setting up boot priorities.
