The babies are growing fast. I got curious about how robins seem to be able to find worms underground so did a bit of searching. It seems that their eyes are so good that they can actually see the grass rise and fall when a worm passes. Attachment:

They're certainly growing well, that's a fascinating fact about their ability to find worms.

Sigh, the baby robins have gained flight and fled the nest. Now I'm just left with the little critter imaged below to pester. He/she/it is about six inches long. You can see just how small the little critter is compared to the grass. The grass is cropped pretty short. Attachment:
