I usually expect to be disappointed by movie sequels. I TOTALLY enjoyed the original movie of Maleficent and expected to be be disappointed by the sequel. I am quite happy to say that I was quite wrong in my expectations.

This movie fully accepts the feelings presented in the first movie and does an excellent job on expanding both the peaceful and hostile aspects originally represented.

While parts sort of seem to be overblown this is one of the best sequels I've seen. If you like fantasy type movies I very much recommend this but make sure to view the original movie first.
