Should be a hell of a game 2 nite. Two great pitchers. You better hope Baker can play in the wet and slop. Pouring here in the Northeast all day

Hopefully Baker's main job will be to hand the ball to Chubb and short outlet passes. Don't quote me on the exact numbers but when Baker gets rid of the ball within 2.5 seconds he has a QB rating of over 100. When he starts running around his rating is under 70. From what I've seen there is supposed to be very heavy rains for, at least, the first half of the Browns/Pats game. LOL! I suppose that you're going to be a brat and pull for the Pats. I'll probably be flipping back and forth between baseball and the KC/GB game tonight. Or mayhaps I'll put one on each screen and just swap between muting the volume. I can use my cable box for one game and stream for the other. How funny in the Broncos/Colts game. Denver had to use a time out to change the batteries in Flacco's headset. One would think they'd put in new batteries before the start of every game. I hope that your health issues are improving!

The way the Denver Indy game ended that lost time out due to Flacco's headset batteries could have made a difference. Glad that you are doing OK as to health.

Sigh, so far in the 1st quarter the Browns can't do right either. I hope that the two fumbles by Chubb don't get in his head as I consider him the best chance for the Browns offense. I sort of wonder if the Browns might not be wise to put in Hilliard at running back for a series or two to let Chubb get his head back together. On the other hand that could get into Chubb's head even more. I plain don't like Kitchens as head coach. Three turnovers on three consecutive plays and he is laughing on the sidelines??? He should be in player's faces yelling!

I don't get what Miami is able to do the the Steelers so far, about 12 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. I would have expected it to got the other way around...

Make that it is that the visiting team has now won six games without the home team winning even one.
Just seems like a rather odd series...

I sort of prefer a pitching duel. Mayhaps that has something to do with my wishing the AL would get rid of the DH.

Freddie Kitchens has to go! I hate to say that as Belichick's first head coach gig was with the Browns and he also was terrible but look what happened later. Still the Browns could have been without their top two receivers simply due to Kitchens allowing them to go on the field with illegal equipment, their shoes. How does an NFL head coach allow such to happen.
I'll have to wait until live games are over to see again the Browns first punt on Gamepass but it seems that the officials blew it again. I won't say for fact until I can see again but I swear that the Denver returner clearly and obviously signaled for a fair catch then took off and returned for 25-30 yards leading to Denver's first score and the officials ignored the call for a fair catch and allowed the return. The ball should have been blown dead at the point of the fair catch and, possibly, even a penalty involved. I mean the returner waved his hand over his head 2-3 times. To me that is a clear fair catch signal. Would it have changed the outcome? I don't know but it surly changed how the game was approached by the Browns.

The coach is more like one of the guys then a head coach. Change needed for sure. The Refs don't like your Browns

I never like Kitchen's being made coach from the start. I felt that, if staying in the house, Williams should have gotten the job.
Don't know that the refs actually dislike the Browns but I do think it possible that all the off season media hype may be influencing the refs to look closer at the Browns.
I was surprised that Miami actually beat the Jets. I hope that the Giants beat Dallas. I don't like Dallas at all! For obvious reasons I was pulling for the Pats over the Ravens but oh well...

Jets loss doesn't surprise me. Giants got a shot. Pats just a hiccup. Browns GM has to be held accountable also

That is true as John Dorsey gave the coaching job to Kitchens. I do think there may have been some pressure from higher ups. From what I understand some of the higher ups just plain did not personally like Williams. Plus Mayfield liked Kitchens and, in today's NFL, a "franchise" QB seems to have a larger voice in who is the coach then they probably should.

Well your Jets won. Browns beat the Bills but probably deserve to. Again I call for getting rid of Kitchens. In the first half the Browns, on tow possessions, had ten chances for touchdowns and came away with a total of three points. Yes, that can happen to any team but the play calling was awful. You have Chubb, Hunt and Higgins. If I caught what the announcers said right you are playing a run defense that gave up seven yards a carry up the middle last week. When you do run it is outside. This makes no sense. Then the Browns have the ball within their own five yard line and Kitchens calls an empty backfield and a long developing pass... Of course it ended in a safety. Then there is the continuing lack of discipline... Browns first TD pass to Landry that ends with a taunting penalty that is cost a point on the extra point attempt. If I'm not thinking right about Kitchens please correct me.

Jets/ Giants was a fun game to watch. You're right about the Browns coaching. Ownership has to do something A kick butt coach is needed. At least they won

Steelers @ Browns is a weird game coming up Thursday. A month ago I would have been confident but the Steelers have been showing a bit lately...
