I use my own Modem and Router for my Cumquat account I don't why you are worried Moose. Comcast is completely trustworthy.

I have Spectrum which, I guess, is the same as Comcast. My modem is Arris so I guess I'm OK. The only thing actually connected to the modem is my router anyway.

Actually I don't even have Comcast, was just warning those that do, but again, looks like Comcast is fixing the problem (did they ever have a choice?). Acadia

Comcast will fix things. In their own sweet time. One of the ways they will fix this is by raising rates. Watch
