I am currently using Acronis 2017 (latest build 8058) on my Windows 10 computer. I normally perform weekly updates to an external drive. I just noticed that the last update was performed on 1/23/2021, which was about 6 weeks ago. However, the next scheduled update is 12/30/1986. I don't know how 1986 got in there and I don't know how to change that date.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I have Acronis 2018 but always do my backups manually booting to an Acronis Recovery disk. I don't keep Acronis actually installed as I find it to be too intrusive and system resource hungry.
As to your actual question I can't give a direct answer but think it may be easiest to remove the current schedule and just create a new one.

I guess I can try that, but I would first like to find out why the scheduling went haywire so that the next/new one won't.
Is anyone else using Acronis who might know how to correct this issue?

It has been a long time since I've had Acronis installed but, if memory serves, I found it quite common for the schedule time to constantly change just not as much as yours. Mine would change as to hours but not 35 years. It always did the images so I didn't much mess with it. By chance is this the same system where the clock went crazy for a bit? viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2581The timing looks perfect. If the same machine the clock setting issue could have messed with the Acronis schedule. Your date for the last Acronis backup is only one day off from when you posted about the clock.

You are correct, Jay. Same computer where the clock went crazy, and Acronis schedule only off by one day. I suppose the clock problem could have caused the Acronis date problem. I never thought about that.
I've got to figure out how to remove the current schedule and set a new one......probably an easy process, but I've never done it before.

Jay, I also run Acronis 2017 on my Windows 7 computer, and no problem there. Next scheduled backup date is correct. So I bet it was the clock problem.

Jay, I do think it was the clock problem like you thought. But I could never figure out how to to remove the current schedule and set a new one......it kept going back to 1986. So what I did was to delete the current backups and then add them back in as new backups. That worked and now all my schedule dates are correct.
That was good detective work on your part.......thanks.
