@Pete or other users of Macrium Reflect -

I am currently using Home Edition v6.1.1225 (UEFI), which I purchased on 4/25/16.

I just logged on to Macrium to do a current backup, and a window popped up notifying me about 'Updates Found'. Then it showed a list of bugs fixed and other updates going back to 2/23/15.

What is with this massive update? Does this mean that I have been using a version full of bugs?

Thanks in advance for any insight, as I've never seen an update process quite like this one. :?

Absolutely no problem here, just Macrium keeping itself up-to-date. Next time you see the message just click to allow it to do its thing. The current version is 6.2.1549. After you've done this a few times you will really appreciate how smooth those Brits have made this program. Updating only takes me literally a few seconds, no exaggeration, and usually does not even require a reboot.

Hi BB

Actually the version you were using was out of date. Most of the bugs wouldn't effect you unless you were having problems.

Also you want to check to see if they made changes to the recovery environment. I generally remake the recovery environment when they make a change. It's easy. Just....

1. rebuild the environment as you did the first time, and then redo your USB key or CD
2. Remake the Boot manager assuming you use it(you should)
3. Test both.
4. Take a new image and test it

Acadia & Pete - Thanks for the replies. I will do the update later today, and I will also check any changes to the recovery environment.

Do you know if Macrium will be offering any 'purchase specials' over the holidays? I would like to get a copy for my older computer, but not necessarily at their previous price.
