For the last few days my initial connection to these forums has seemed pretty slow. Once I'm here load speeds seem normal, it is just the initial load. Anyone else seen slow loads? I think it is my Spectrum internet as other sites also seem to have the same issue. I just want to make sure all is good here.

No issues on my end, also Spectrum but on a whole different side of the country.

No issues here in NJ, either.

Think I figured it out. I use OpenDNS for my domain name server instead of Spectrum's. I just checked and, somehow, my DNS got set back to aquire from ISP which means that OpenDNS was dropped and it went back to Spectrum. I changed it back to OpenDNS and all seems better. This explains why getting here was slow (and other sites) but page loads were normal once on the problem sites. I can understand the possibly of an update or something knocking out my Windows 10 DNS settings but don't get how my router got changed back to Spectrum. https://www.opendns.com/
