I'm creating install media and will install when done.

<edit>
Install done but took longer than I expected. It was more like the Spring Upgrade; much longer than last fall. Seems like it all went well although I had to do an extra restart to get back a couple of my Notification Area Icons. I went from version 2004, build 19041.610 to version 20H2, build 19042.572.

Oddly the ISO image I made with the Media Creation Tool wouldn't burn to a DVD but that may have just been a faulty blank DVD, I only tried one and went ahead and burned to a Blu-Ray blank. When I tried burning to a DVD it said the ISO was too large for the media. Looking at the size of the ISO it really should fit on a DVD. If not it can always be done to a flash drive or a direct upgrade can be done without actually creating media. I just like to have physical media preferably on DVD. I have media for every version since the initial release. Don't really know why I keep the older ones but I do. :dunno:

LOL! Since my blank Blu-Ray disks are printable I couldn't resist making it pretty. Not too bad in my humble opinion. :mrgreen:

Using the manual install from your link is a full complete install which does take some time. The upgrade using Windows Update was very quick as not much overall has changed if all your updates were current.

Thanks David. :) Some things must have changed as last fall I did it the same way by creating media and it went very quickly.

For what it's worth I tried burning to DVD with a few other blanks and got the same won't fit message... :dunno: Still need to upgrade my laptop but it isn't Blu-Ray able, and I can't seem to burn it on DVD, so I'm going to do a flash drive. I would just do an on-line upgrade but since I've never done a flash drive for this..... ;)
