I was trying to to record some audio from You Tube and discovered that the Stereo Mix input setting isn't recording. I don't know when this setting stopped working. My Yeti microphone records when selected as the Input Device. I have installed the lasted version of AVS4 You software along with trying Audacity. Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you go to the sound applet in your control panel and change the recording device to the source you want?

Jay I have tried pretty much everything that I can think of. Here are some pics of how my settings are. The AVS software is a fresh upgrade install.

You have likely already tried this but here is a troubleshooting page.

I have done all the recommendations on that page but still no joy. I’m really stumped as to why Windows is showing Stereo Mix but not responding to it.

I'm sorry Terry but I just don't have experience with this kind of software. Have you tried their support system?

I have not Jay, not yet anyway. I thought it might be a Windows problem from one of the updates. I try the AVS Support team tomorrow.
