Sometimes an install just fails. This even happens with System Restore. A second attempt often succeeds. Let us know how it goes.

The most common reasons for the 0xc1900101 Windows 10 error are drivers need updated, an Antivirus blocking the upgrade, insufficient space on the system or broken system files. It is really a pretty generic error.

Thanks for the response, Steve. I had seen that posting. Sounds like they want you to try everything instead of maybe admitting that the error might be on their end. Sure enough......I didn't try any of their many suggestions, and the install was perfect the 2nd time.
