I am not sure how to change the main path for downloads from F:\ to C:\. I had no problem to change the path for downloads in Microsoft Edge settings from F:\ to C:\ but when I unzip the file and ask me to F:\Users/JP\Desktop. I don't want that line and where do I find this line to change. My son setup this up in my computer.
Thank you,
John

Looks like a sort of odd setup. The path of "F:\Users/JP\Desktop" would indicate that "F:" is your system drive when it would normally be "C:".
Looks like you have already changed your download location to "C:". Are your downloads actually going to "C:"? If using the Windows built in unzip utility, "Extract all..." when the zipped file is right clicked, it should default to the same location as the download is located.

Hi Jay, and the reason why the drive setup is odd because of the 2 TB hard drive is in F drive. That is why my son who did make the changes from C:/ to F:\. And the C:\drive is Solid State Drive which have 256 GB in it. My problem with the downloads before is I kept download but didn't bother to install or after the install then move the download file to Recycle Bin. Also I have two Downloads folders and one is in C:\ and other is in F:\. Now want to ask you Can I delete the Downloads Folder from the F:\ drive and keep the other folder in C:\. Or do I have to go to registry to change or just delete the Downloads Folder from the F:\ drive.
Let me know about this.
Thank you again,
John

You can delete the download folder on F: but I would not bother.
To change the default download in Edge which I believe you are using do the following: 1) First delete or move all the downloads that are in the F: download folder. 2) Open the Edge settings by clicking on the three dots in the upper right and select Downloads. 3) You should see a line that says "Choose where download go"; click on it. If a download history shows click on Clear all at the top and you will then see the needed line. 4) Scroll down to Downloads and click on the Change button. 5) Navigate to the download folder on C: and and choose to "Select folder". Your downloads should now go to the download folder on C:.
