Before adding Mozilla, Google Chrome and Opera to Windows 7, I was able to go to the control panel>internet options>browsing history>and delete temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web form information and everything was pretty much gone. Now if I do that, it does not delete anything viewed in the other browsers. So, is there a way to clear all history with just one operation rather than having to do it 4 times?

Thanks for your input but I was hoping to be able to do this within Windows 7 itself.

Can't say for Opera or Chrome but, in Firefox, go to Tools then Options. On the left click 'Privacy and Security'. Scroll down through and you will all the settings you want. I set Firefox to delete history when closed.

The only two ways to do this would be using a 3rd party tool that deals with multiple browsers or use an option within each of the browsers. Jay has explained Firefox.
For Chrome -- https://support.google.com/chrome/answe ... 21593&rd=1
For Opera -- https://visihow.com/Clear_Opera_Browsin ... _Windows_7
A nice article that consolidates steps for multiple browsers:

ccleaner should be able to clean the cache for most browsers, but I have not used it in a long time. Do avoid the Registry cleaning part of ccleaner as it can make a mess if care is not taken.

Hi Jay, I think your info on Firefox combined with Steve's information about Opera and Chrome will allow me to achieve what I want. Thanks so much for your help.
