Evan as a Windows Insider and seeing the changes as they are tested, I forget what many (ok, most ;) ) of the changes are when I update my laptop to the new version. Finally, there is helpful documentation detailing What was new for Windows 10, version 1809.

It is nice to see that they are adding some documentation. :) Is it a text file that is linked on the desktop or do you need to hunt it down?

I just checked and can't do the update yet as the download page still shows the April Update ("Windows 10 April 2018 Update now available"). I dropped out of the Insider Program ages ago... Actually as soon as Windows 10 went retail.

Any word as to when a re-release of the fall 2018 update is expected?

On 16Oct2018, Build 17763.104 (KB4464455) was released to Windows Insiders in the Slow and Release Preview rings so, hopefully, it will be next week. The Fast Ring is currently in the second build for the Spring 2019 version. So far, no issues on my old (2008) desktop. (Edit to correct age of desktop.)

None of my machines have got the 1809 update yet they pulled it before mine were ready. I used to be an insider when 10 was first around but since getting the official version I came out of the fast track. I usually wait till the machines tell me I have an update before upgrading.

With both of my devices are from 2008, I have one on the Fast Ring and the other I wait for the version update to be offered.
