From the previous topic which spoke of Sandboxie.
I've got the lifetime license but I can't figure out how to update it.
Mine is 5.30 (64bit) and the update is 5.33.3 or is it .6?

Try his link.It is version 5.33.3, Released: March 4th, 2020. I can't test as to if the download is actually active as I'm not going to fill out the required download form giving out my email.

I think this the last release actually put out by Sophos.

It seems that the first open source is version 5.4 but I'm not sure and don't seem to be able to find a download but swear that I've seen such.

As a followup to my previous post the 5.4 version download MAY have been in one of the links in the other thread about Sandboxie.

Personally, if things are OK on your system, I'd hold off on update installs for Sandboxie until things settle down and are sorted out.

Smitty, the update feature in SB is no longer valid and will not work. Anyone can now go to the download site (I will have to give that to you later, too busy now to search for it, or you can find it yourself at that lengthy SB thread at Wilders), anyone, including those without a license, can now download it and install the full version. Just install it on top of the old one like you always have, everything has worked for me, so far, as if nothing had changed (knock on wood).

Jay may have given you a good link, I don't know. To repeat, that thread,
https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/sandboxie-acquired-by-invincea.357312/page-257#post-2912228

has all the information you need but you will probably have to search around for your information, or you could, if you are a member at Wilders, just post your questions in that thread.
Good luck, Bill

Ok, Smitty, here is the link to the version of Sandboxie that everyone at Wilders is recommending at this time:

Yes, things are OK with my system. I like your suggestion. I'm gonna do that.

Yup, gotta agree with that too. Waiting to update ANYTHING is almost always the best thing to do, in my opinion anyway.

I don't even update system drivers unless I see an issue or the update increases performance. The exception to that is my video drivers as almost all of those are for better game compatibility. I just figure don't fix what isn't broken. ;)
