I just had this pop up on my computer this morning. Apparently Adobe is ending support for Flash Player. They advise removing if not needed. What program or code will take its place on websites to play media?

Most sites have moved away from Flash. There are, however, still thousands of sites that still use it. HTML5 is currently the standard for content previously coded for Flash Player.
If you find that a site you depend on still requires Flash, there are some alternative players that claim to be more secure than Adobe Flash Player and you could also choose to leave Flash Player on your PC for now, though that is a bit of a security risk, of course.
