Hi Brian. Nice to see you here. I assume that this is the same Brian Boston that was my MVP Lead 2007-2009...

Brian, if you get this: it is good to see that you are still about. I will always remember your guidance and personality.

Joan, It is probable that Brian just joind to post about Patty. I doubt that he has time to be actually active here.

He was going around wearing 'Penguin' stuff. Keep in mind that he worked for Microsoft, it was a Microsoft summit and the 'penguin' logo is a Linux thing. Great guy with a wonderful sense of humor.

Oh I knew a bit about what went on at those Summits I used to be in regular contact with quite a few of the MVPs from years ago and have photos from them. I did let Noel and MikeM know about Patty, they were both upset about the news.

To be honest my last year as an MVP, 2009, Brian was not my lead. Still I remember Brian but could not even name my 2009 lead.

Is he the guy holding the hand-written note "Penguin for Windows"... i've wondered every time i see those pics what that was all about... it's blindingly obvious now you've explained it!

Clearly has a sense of humour and was before his time, i typo'd a Google search of his handwritten note earlier tonight and had to think where i went wrong when i couldn't find the same search results so i tried two different searches.... Although I understand Brian was here to post about Patty and is likely too busy and won't see this but what better way to make my first post at Computer Haven than to acknowledge one of the nicest MVP Leads ever!
@Acadia, coincidence in username or the same Acadia from SNF?

OHHHHH, ok, if you mean Scott's Newsletter Forum, yes that's me although I don't chime in to much there. I like how they cater to not only Windows, but also Linux and Macs. Acadia

Yes, that was what I meant. The Linux forum is the most active these days and many of the same people are still around, although as you've noticed by the lack of response to your post last year, Scott not so much.
