I use eM Client as my email program. When I receive a Topic Reply Notification via email and then click the link to see the newest post, I always get the warning shown below. I thought maybe this would go away with eM Client updates, but it hasn't. I always answer 'Yes' and have never encountered any problem after that. Any idea what is causing this warning?

It is in how a variable in the email code is done. I've looked at the code and fixing is beyond me.

I'll answer for Jay and he can correct me if needed. :-)

It would be the code for the Computer Haven forum that creates the email alerts.

Thanks, Steve. Am I the only one getting this warning alert? If so, why just me?

I also get it if I click the email link.

I get the notices when there are new posts from Computer Haven but I don't click any links within any of them. I come here at least once a day sometimes more so I'll see any new posts when I arrive and plus I don't want to leave sorting my emails out because I've been taken to the forum, I prefer going through all my emails then visiting the forums.

The thing with this is I can't figure out where the problem arises. The link to the topic is set as a variable and the variable is included in the email.

We had this discussion before and, if I remember right, it did not come up with Outlook. I just don't know if it is actually with the code that generates the emails or if it is how eM Client receives the email. I just can't get a grip on the actual cause.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email client and Edge for most of my browsing, I do use Google Chrome as well.
