It would seem that Microsoft is not the only outfit involved with trying to get rid of Internet Explorer.

Can't remember for sure whether it was a financial site or an on-line store but I saw a notice that Internet Explorer would no longer be supported after either 7/1/18 or 7/31/18. Sorry but I can't remember if it was the first or last of the month.

Does this mean that Internet Explorer will just suddenly stop working? In most cases you will never know that Internet Explorer is no longer supported. There is an outfit called W3C that sets the standards for how web sites should be written. As long as the site complies with W3C standards Internet Explorer should work unless the site directly looks for the browser being used and denies access for a specific browser. Actually the code to do this is quite simple.
