I'm trying to help my daughter change her default Edge to Google Chrome in Windows 10. When I click on Windows Edge as the Web browser in Settings/Apps/Default Apps, there is no Chrome listed. She has a choice of Edge, IE or go to the Store. She has Chrome on her system. How do I change her default browser to Chrome?

Open Chrome.
Click on the settings icon in the upper right corner. (3 stacked dots)
Scroll down to the setting in Chrome to make it the default browser.
Strange that Chrome is not listed in the Default Apps setting for the browser. Perhaps a reinstall of Chrome is in order? However, the above should work.

Steve, sorry to be so tardy getting back to you on this, but I just today was able to look at her computer to see if I could get a better result. I did exactly as you describe, but that takes us to the Default Apps listing and Chrome is definitely not listed there. I forgot to try uninstalling/installing Chrome, but will do that the next time I'm at her house. Thanks for the suggestions.

The option to set Chrome as the default browser within Chrome would not take you to the Windows Default Apps listing. It is a check box within the Chrome setting.
Open Chrome.
Click on the options icon in Chrome.
