I use eM Client as my email client program. For the past couple of weeks I have received several emails from "nobody@invalid.invalid".
What is that all about? I don't open them, I just delete.

YW.  The ones I get from that spammer seem to deal with a Facebook log in. If I recall there is an attachment included. As I know that you know; never open such.

Seems that this spammer has escalated things. For a little over a week I've started getting a bunch of 'take a survey' type spams promising expensive prizes for taking the surveys.

I'm not getting any of the survey spans, nor am I still getting the nobody spams. Maybe the spanner passed away and went to hell.

Actually I took a closer look and the survey spams are not all from "nobody@invalid.invalid" but some are. Mayhaps the new stuff is just the yearly 'holiday spam'.
