My grandson just started college and his dorm room is on the 7th floor. I purchased him a new Toshiba laptop with win8.1. His father updated the os to win10 without any problems. His major concern is, the Colleges wifi is quite weak sometimes and I was wondering if there was maybe a booster of some kind that would connect to his laptop to improve the signal when it is weak. Jim

There are signal boosters but it is probable that the school techs would have to install as these signal boosters are driven from the wireless end not the system receiving. At least that is my understanding, I have used such a product.

Thanks Jay. I thought as much but wanted an experts opinion before I replied to him. Jim
