I know that we all have a CMOS battery in our motherboards. I know that it keeps our settings alive when a pc is completely unplugged from the wall. Question: when we completely turn off our pcs BUT keep them plugged into the wall, is the CMOS now working or does the system send a little trickle of juice thru allowing the CMOS to rest, similar to what our TVs, stereos, etc. do?
Thanks, Bill
