I need to know more information about this before installing the M.2 on my desktop. After the installation of this drive do I have to reformat this or leave like this and will clone the operating system from the SSD ( C:\) to this drive by Macrium Reflect program. Let me know about the reformat on new M2. Thank you, John |

If it is already formatted it will be fine but you won't hurt anything if you want to format it anyway. You will need to go to Drive Management and initialize the drive. |
