I'm running out of space on my C: drive, which is on a partition of an SSD. On the same SSD is a partition with Windows 7 on it, which I no longer need. I want to delete that data and then incorporate the space into the C: partition. How do I do this?

I believe you can do all this right through Disk Management. You can delete the partition with 7 and extend the C: partition. Only thing to double check is that if you are dual booting it that you remove the option to boot to 7, you can do this using MSCONFIG .

I also like the EaseUS software. One advantage is that, with Disk Management you can only increase the size of a partition if the free space is to the right and right next to the partition to be enlarged in the graph of the drive. EaseUS can enlarge in either direction.

Jay, I want to be sure I do this correctly. I do have the EaseUS partition manager, but as you may remember, I was triple booting at one time using the EasyBCD boot menu. That menu still comes up each time I boot giving me the option of Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (the default choice and the only one that I use). If I understand correctly, I delete the Windows 7 boot in EasyBCD first, then delete the Windows 7 partition in EaseUS partition manager. After that, I resize my C: partition using the space from the deleted Windows 7 partition.

That is correct Gerry. You can actually fake this through Windows settings but using EasyBCD to remove the other boot options is the 'cleanest' way.
As long as all the empty space will be to the right of the partition you want to enlarge using either EaseUS or Drive Management will do fine. I usually tend to take the area I'm adding all the way down to unallocated space. This is also handy if you have multiple partitions that you want to wipe.
