I have two Bluetooth items arriving soon; a mouse and a game pad. The game pad is going to arrive first. I can't imagine why it would but does it matter what order Bluetooth devices are paired? Go ahead and pair the game pad when it arrives or wait for the mouse and do that first? I can't imagine why it would matter but I haven't messed with Bluetooth much except for the keyboard on my Android tablet and connecting that tablet to my main system.

There is no order of devices connected via Bluetooth. You can set them up in any order you want. ;-)

Thanks Steve. :) I figured that would be the case but wanted to be sure.

8-)
You're most welcome. Expanding just a bit, when a new Bluetooth device is attached, drivers are loaded and the device is paired. If you disconnect it, the drivers are on the system, but they are not loaded until you connect again -- and you won't need to pair each time as the device and the system "know" about each other.

OK, I think I get it. :)

Hmmm, while I'm sure not actually accurate you could almost consider Bluetooth as wireless USB.

Yes, that is a decent analogy. ;-)
