I think that I'm probably the only one here that is into games so hesitated to make this post but........

It isn't released until tomorrow (6/18/2019) so I can't comment on game play or anything but it looks REALLY interesting. I ordered it a day before release to get a 10% discount. I'll download it tomorrow. :) I have to admit to being a bit anxious.

If you ever played games do you remember Castlevania? It was a game that I always enjoyed and still have on game system emulators such as Super Nintendo.

Enter Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.

Today its genre is Metroidvania but, to me, it looks like Castlevania with much more extreme graphics. It is a linear side scrolling game mixed with a bit of RPG.

The basic game graphics are what they are calling 2.5D and the game 'hero' is 3D. Since I have never seen the term 2.5D I don't really know what that means but, looking at the trailers, my guess is that they overlay two 2D backgrounds moving at different speeds to give the appearance of 3D due to perspective.

From the trailers it looks like a total hoot! :)

Yep, it is Caltlevania redone. Nice graphics and quite good response to my game pad.
