I for one do not. Savings are not worth the craziness for me. The following Saturday and Sunday are not much better. I doubt that I'll leave my apartment until Monday. :ugeek:

At the same time I DO take advantage of 'Black Friday' discounts. For example Walmart already has their discounts active if you order on-line. In fact I just ordered winter low boot type indoor/outdoor slippers and a couple of pairs of thermal socks on-line for what are supposed to be 'Black Friday' discounts. I saved ~40% over advertised retail. LOL! Gotta keep the toes warm. Actually that is a thing with me. If my feet are cold all of me feels cold. If my feet are warm all of me is comfy. :rofl2:

Not me. :-) I have never headed out to shop on Black Friday, nor will I. I have taken advantage of online savings and will certainly take a look at sales, but I'm not in the market for anything at the moment, so I probably won't buy anything.

I still need to pick up some new sweats for the winter but, basically, I don't have anything that I need to buy either.

I also wonder just how much of a discount is really valid during this craziness. Granted this was in 1973 but, when I first got out of the U.S. Navy, I worked in the stock room at a local K-Mart. At that time K-Mart had a sale thing that they called 'Dollar Days'. They had all sorts of stuff that was supposedly marked down to a dollar. The thing is that us stock room workers spent the night before the sale changing price tags from 79 and 89 cents up to a dollar. Ever since that I have not trusted sale prices.

That's why it is important to know what the regular price really is before believing the sale price. That practice of raising the price before the sale is common and even easier to do with an online only presence!

I don't shop that way either, I can't actually visit a retailer and have to do all my shopping online. I just buy when I need it and if it's on sale at the time all the better but I don't wait for a particular day.
