I always wanted to play guitar but my hands just didn't seem to work right for it. My mom played a pretty decent guitar with her thing being country western. I probably should have gotten her guitar when she dies but some distant cousin talked her out of it when she was not mentally in control. She died from Lewy body dementia which is like having Parkinson's and Alzheimer's at the same time. Anyway my father bought it for her when I was born. It is a 1954 Gibson Les Paul TV model. The original was white but that did not work well on black and white TVs so Gibson made a limited blonde color version that worked better on the screen. Last I looked (about 10 years ago) the thing was worth around $16,000.00.

LOL! I played drums instead and actually made money doing so in 1974 doing lite jazz and blues.
