Sigh, at one time I was considered a very good rudimental drummer but not like the following!

Just a fun video with a high school drummer versus a Marine drummer. Both drummers are awesome but the portion where two Marine drummers each do a different hand is pretty amazing!

This is just too much fun and they both seem to enjoy the battle.

Who says the military can't have fun?

Music is subjective but in my opinion there is no drummer more fun to watch than John Bonham of Led Zeppelin fame.

Moby Dick drum solo is a classic...

In 1970 it looked like this:

In 1977 it looked like this:

Bigger drum kit with synthesizer in the latter, more 'raw' in the former... i prefer the former simply because what you see is what you get.

As an aside, i've often wondered if Sheldon Cooper playing the bongos in The big Bang Theory was loosely based on the John Bonham solo of Moby Dick?...

There seems to be some conflict about whether the Earls Court performance was in '77 or '75 if the following video is correct...
https://youtu.be/vlaCo92Emjg

It says it was from '75 but appears to be a longer version of the '77 video i linked to above... watch and make up your own mind, maybe they did concerts where they dressed the same in 75 & 77, i doubt it but guess anything is possible?
