A sign from the Roman Gods that takeaway food will always survive no matter what?... make up your own mind
At a time when non-essential retail is again closing to the public all over the world, with fastfood outlets only being allowed to open for delivery... a two thousand year old takeaway is set to re-open to the public!
Without doubt 2020 will go down in human history and be talked about for centuries if not millennia, i wonder if any of the takeaways we know today will still be around in another two thousand years?

A "fast food" shop from the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, which was destroyed in a volcanic eruption almost 2,000 years ago, is to open to the public - for viewings only - next year.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55454717Fyi, i'm undecided whether the painting of the dog next to the duck and chicken meant dog was on the menu, or if dogs should be kept on a leash?
I hope the latter, but in Roman times i suspect all bets were off!
