Anyone do anything special? Myself, I just stay home watching college football games or movies and leave New Years Eve to the armatures. No way will I be on the road! I like sipping my rum and cokes watching a movie or sports but New Year Eve is not the night to be out and about.

I can no longer stay up late enough to welcome in the new year.....I am usually in bed by 9:30pm, since I get up around 5:00am.

But last night I happened to wake up at 11:55pm, so I quickly turned on my bedroom TV and watched the ball drop. Then I went right back to sleep.

So Happy New Year to everyone........

We were still awake but I forgot about it till getting ready to actually settle down and I looked at the time and it was 10 past midnight so just said Happy New Year to my hubby.

The village was very quiet as well, no fireworks and we didn't hear any music coming from the local and if they have a live band on we will hear it, we have other years.
