Looks that way as Samsung decides to quit producing new Blu-ray models.

I hadn't heard that Jay, although I do have a Blu-ray player I don't have any discs, only DVDs. I don't do any streaming either unless you count the odd time I do catch up if I've missed a program I wanted to watch, we have Sky for our TV service, the Box Set HD package.

Same here Joan, No Blu-ray but, actually, two players. I have a stand-alone and a burner.

Just the one box which can play Blu-ray and DVDs, it's an LG player that connects via HDMI cable to the Samsung TV.

Then there is the Sky Q box that brings us our TV.

We used to have a video player attached but got rid of that, wish we'd kept it now as we still have plenty of videos that we haven't replaced with DVDs yet plus I'm sure we have some that we won't get DVDs for as they are personal ones.

We don't watch films as such so don't have Netflix or the Cinema channels, we don't have the sports channels either.

My stand alone Blu-ray player is also LG as is my main display screen. I also have a Sony DVD stand alone player connected to the USB TV tuner on my main system. Also connected to that tuner are my cable box and a JVC VCR. Using the TV tuner software I can convert a VHS tape to DVD. Then I have an Asus DVD burner and a Blu-ray burner in my main media system. LOL! I think I have too much electronics. ;)
