In the 6 plus years I've been using Windows 7 and 7 Pro, I have never used
Windows Protection to restore anything.
All my restorations have been with Raxco Instant Recovery and Macrium Reflect.
If I turn off Windows Protection, I will gain about 10 GB.
Any reason why I shouldn't turn it off?

Do you need the extra 10 GB? If not leave it alone as multiple backups are always the best way to go.

No, I don't need the space. I'll leave it be.
Thanks!
