That is good to read but Flash will still be around for quite a few years to come.
The problem is that it is too widely in use to just go away quickly. For instance most, if not all, the games on Facebook are Flash. If Facebook were to take away Flash support people would riot.
Also HTML5 still has a ways to go to match or beat Flash as to the ability to handle high definition video smoothly.On the other hand HTML5 is not the only other resource. Silver Light can handle high definition smoothly and without issue as is proven through Netflix.
Bottom line... I must give kudos to Adobe for advising web designers to go away from their standard. LOL! May I live long enough to actually remove Flash from my system.
