Does anyone know if FD Rescue is still available?
And is it the next best thing to FDISR?

And Acadia, as an FDISR user, would you look at http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=331048 to
read about my problem.

It seems help is getting pretty thin there.

Hi Smitty

I've noticed your thread there, and at first nothing came to mind. If you've done a clean install with new snapshots and it isn't helping then as I think about it something may be messing with the file access. Dawned on me I had a similiar problem with my Thinkpad Tablet. Seems like the issue was with a new snapshot, but updates were okay. Only real difference other then IBM stuff, is I am running EMSI's AV and Guards, and I suspect one of them may be causing the issue. Since I go to Archives, what I did to create a new Primary Archive, was boot to the secondary and do a copy from the Primary Snapshot to the archive. That why my c: drive was essentially inactive, and this worked fine.

If you are starting from scratch let me know. You can recover if you have some good images of your disk.

Pete

PS FD Rescue is no longer available, and no in my book there simply is nothing comparable to FDISR Also PM me here.

I was using an old version of FDISR (.205) and yesterday I was able to get the last version (.235)
and that solved the problem. I was once told I waited too long to update and missed out on the .235 update.
I was all prepared to acquire Rollback RX. I trialed it for just one day and that would have worked for me.
But I'm back in business with FDISR and I will stay with it.

Thanks for responding.
