I thought I'd share this here, I've been looking for a file search utility that didn't rely on windows indexing (way too slow and takes for ever to fill the index for occasional use) that just worked like the old WinXP search did and supports wildcards etc.
I finally think I've found what I've been looking for... a major plus for me is that when selecting files in the search results i see a full right click context menu meaning i can either launch or enqueue mp3's to Winamp straight from the returned results
Best of all is the software is free, there is however a section of the top taskbar set aside for donations but as this does nothing to be obtrusive i don't find it an issue (see screenshot in the link).
I've also been using WizMouse by the same company for years, it brings non focus windows to the fore without the need to click on them which is brilliant on a multi monitor setup and the donation box has never once been an issue.
Anyways make up your own mind but i'm loving it so far...
