Is there a problem with Adobe Flash? My anti virus program keeps telling me to dump it.

Adobe Flash is fraught with security concerns. It would be great if web sites would stop using it, but the reality is if you uninstall Flash, many sites will not work. Just be sure you keep it updated -- and only from adobe.com. Never update it from any other prompts when visiting web sites telling you it needs updating. -steve

Thank you Stephen. I removed it from my computer but you are right in that many sites will no longer work without this application. This being the case, I will download it again from Adobe.com and keep it updated.

Just be careful to avoid the "add ons" that they try to get you to download

The only difference is if you have Windows 8 because that comes with Flash already installed. I know a couple of times I've been told I need Flash but when you go to Adobe it tells you that you're already running the latest version of Flash as it's installed with 8.
