Do others, like myself, like a specific color scheme for their software? The reason that I ask is that I prefer subdued schemes tending toward black. You have to understand that my main monitor is a 42 inch HDTV. Sometimes the color schemes for software is like shoving it down my throat at that size.
Office 365/2016 has a new theme called 'Black' that I instantly made default as soon as I saw. If you want to see the thing it is easy. Just open any Office 365/2016 application and then go to File -> General. Look for the pull down menu named 'Office Theme' and choose 'Black'.
Of course this is personal preference but I tend to find darker colors MUCH easier on my eyes than the defaults on a large monitor.

I agree, it's what I use in Office 2010. They took it out in office 2013 and people screamed at them, so it was brought back.

I'd never even thought about it, although I do have my Windows Phone set to Steel and of course that syncs with my Windows 10 Notebook so that's Steel as well.
Of course that's only on the Notebook screen. My biggest monitor is on my Windows 7 desktop it's a 22" one, can't remember what theme that has apart from having the Bing homepage so I have a different photo each day, that's on all my devices.
