This is the great Oak in Sherwood forest. Its age is estimated at about 1150 years.

That is remarkable! I guess they are giving the old gal a bit of assistance in helping her to stand up - is that what all the poles and wires are?

Thats correct. I think I would need a pole or two at 1500 years old.
